・ニンテンドーDSやWiiはもちろん任天堂で作ってはいないし、

・MacBook AirやHPやレノボのパソコンも、アップルやHP社やレノボ社で作っていないし、

・ノキア社やモトローラ社は携帯電話端末を自分で作っていません。

　OEM（Original Equipment Manufacturing）生産で他の会社に生産を委託することは従来から普通に行われています。
が、実は上記製品の製造は全部同じ会社がやっていることに驚きます。

これら有名商品を作っているのが鴻海精密工業（ホンハイプレシジョン）で、製造だけでなく、設計・開発も短日程でこなします。　
台湾で操業して中国に進出した会社ですが、Foxconnというブランド名なら知っている人が多いかもしれませんね。
